Common Anna fence repairs
Leaning posts are the most common repair call we get. Almost always the cause is shallow posts, no concrete, or concrete that broke free of the post in clay soil. We reset with proper depth and concrete so it stays put.
Storm damage is the second most common. High wind pulls sections loose or snaps rails; hail can chew up softer picket wood. We match existing material where possible so the repair does not read as a patch job.
Gate problems are almost always hardware, not the gate itself. Undersized hinges, missing diagonal bracing, and worn latches cause most of the sag and rub complaints we see.
Section replacement
When only part of a fence is failing, section replacement is usually the right call. We swap the failed section with matching material, reset any bad posts on either side, and tie into the good runs cleanly.
When repair does not make sense
If the pickets are systemically rotted, if more than a third of the posts are moving, or if the entire back run is leaning, replacement is almost always cheaper long term than chasing failing sections. We will say so up front.
